How we work
From the first conversation to handover
Phase 1 · Discuss and assess
1. Tell us about your project
Complete the project form or contact us directly. Tell us what you would like to renovate, where the project is located and what you already know about your budget, schedule and permit. You can also attach drawings or photos if you wish.
2. Discuss your goals and options
We discuss your goals, the existing situation, your budget and schedule. Together, we establish a starting point for the design and construction. You can visit our Experience Centre by appointment if that helps you choose materials and design details.
Phase 2 · Design and preparation
3. Design and permits
Based on your goals, we consider which layout and approach suit the existing home. We discuss the drawings, structural assessment and permits your project may require. We clarify in advance what Ponto coordinates, what an architect, structural engineer or other specialist will do, and which design work and costs are agreed.
4. Proposal and schedule
You receive a proposal based on the defined scope of work. We discuss what is included, which choices remain open and how the schedule is shaping up. Once you agree, we set out the next steps so that design and construction work together.
5. Choices and site preparation
Before work starts, we agree on materials, layout and finishes. Where drawings or visualisations would help, we discuss what level of detail is needed and possible for your project. This allows the main decisions to be made before construction begins.
Phase 3 · Build and handover
6. Construction
Our skilled team carries out the agreed work. During construction, we discuss progress and any technical or practical decisions. Explore completed projects to see what Ponto has delivered.
7. Handover
When the work is complete, we walk through the result together. We discuss any remaining items during handover.
8. Questions after handover
If you have a question or notice an issue after handover, contact us so that we can discuss what is needed.
